The BVR Reptile Room began as a lifelong dream rooted in a deep love for animals—especially reptiles and exotic species. What started as a childhood passion has grown into over 20 years of hands-on experience, education, and an unwavering commitment to responsible care. We are more than just a pet store. We are an interactive, rainforest-themed space rooted around education, ethical care, and connection. Our goal is to create an environment where people feel welcome to ask questions, learn proper care, and truly appreciate species that are often misunderstood.
Tyler
Has been keeping reptiles his entire life, developing a deep respect and understanding for these animals. This has allowed him to have many years of hands-on experiences with caring for and interacting with many species. He is passionate about proper husbandry, ethical ownership, and teaching people how to interact with animals in a way that prioritizes safety and respect for both the animal and the keeper. Education is at the core of everything he does. He believes in accurate information and hands-on learning are essential to changing perspectives and improving standards of care within the reptile community. He takes pride in building trust with an animal, respectful handling, and proper education. His goal is to help others feel confident, informed, and connected to the animals they care for.
Jasmyn
Has loved all animals alike for as long as she can remember, with a lifelong passion that naturally grew into years of hands-on experience keeping and caring for reptiles. Her dedication goes beyond ownership, she is deeply committed to animal welfare and ensuring that every animal, big or small, is given the opportunity to thrive through proper care, enrichment, and understanding. A core part of her passion lies in education, especially helping people who are fearful or unsure about animals through patience, knowledge, and positive experiences. She loves breaking down misconceptions, fostering empathy, and guiding others toward confidence and appreciation, rather than fear. Through education and compassion, she strives to build stronger connections between people, animals, and the environment they share.
